Don't buy a Zojirushi bread machine. I have an earlier model Zojirushi and no matter what I try I cannot get a decent loaf of bread. The bread always falls and turns into a door stop. I have contacted Zojirushi and they are no help. I had a much cheaper bread machine prior to this one which turned out great bread. You would think for the high price of the Zojirushi it would turn out the best bread but just the opposite has been my experience. I did not buy my machine from Amazon or I probably could have gotten a refund. Zojirushi does not want to talk about refunds. Do not buy Zojirushi! Customer Review: Love this machine!

When my old Breadman gave up the ghost, my son-in-law passed along his new Breadman Ultimate to me. He had received it as a gift a year earlier, and had used it once. Even though it was new, it didn't work the way it was supposed to; pan would not stay seated, noisy, dark brown crust on the lightest setting, poor texture, etc. Customer service could/would not help because the machine was technically a year old. That turned out to be a blessing, because I bought the Zojirushi BBCCX20, and could not be more pleased. The machine is quiet, the pan stays seated, the bread is well formed with good crust color and texture. I highly recommend the Zojirushi! This bread machine is nothing short of great. I like the new home bake program. I make an artisian recipe which calls for two rising times with a stretch in between. By programing my own times, I finish faster than with the Zojirushi I had before. With the other machine I had to use the preheat,which I never need, and had to watch the time as the rising time was more than I needed. The old machine was a good machine and made lots of bread for me, I just wore it out. This model is even better. Besides the home bake, I like the loud beep I can hear upstairs if I am sewing, that you can now open the lid without the machine stopping, and it is very quiet. A new friend gave me a loaf of her wheat bread she had just made and it was wonderful! She showed me her Zojirushi bread machine and could not say but good things about it. She uses it everyday. She has 9 children and 6 are still at home, so they go through alot of bread! They don't buy bread from the store anymore, since they got the bread machine. That was good enough for me. My husband bought me one and I don't buy bread from the store anymore either. They are wonderful machines! Pat, from Georgia
