I ordered this brand because my friend said its the best rice cooker on the market. Completely agree, the rice always cooks perfectly. The only frustration is that it takes quite a while, so prepping is necessary so you're not waiting forever. Its a very pretty rice cooker and the musical start and finish sounds are cute. When this arrived I realised that I'd ordered the wrong one! I meant to buy the larger model. I couldn't be bothered returning it and have found it to be great. It has more than enough capacity for three rice servings and we are fairly happy with it. It does take far longer than boiling a pot of rice but the rice comes out perfectly and does make a difference to the meal.Customer Review: My go to gadget for stomach bug relief...

I know it sounds kinda ew.. but whenever we get an upset stomach around here, white rice is what we serve. I used to make that quick cook minute rice. I thought it was really good until I made rice in the Zojirushi. No comparison. That and oatmeal. It even made brown rice taste really good. I bought it specifically for sushi rice, and it comes out perfect every time.
It takes longer but it's well worth it. Clean up is a breeze; a quick wipe down of the unit and warm soap and water for the bowl, and it's clean.
Well worth the price.

I had one of those cheap rice cookers I got at Target and the rice was never consistent. I invested in this rice cooker and I have tried, white(Jasmine), brown, and wild and have gotten great results each time.
My only complaint is similar to others. The instruction manual gives really no concrete information on how to measure your rice and water. Even when I thought I added to much or too little water, the rice has turned out.
The cooker was easy to clean and easy to transport to various counters. Overall, I'm glad I made the investment.
