Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Zojirushi Mr. Bento Stainless-Steel lined Lunch Jar, SilverCustomer Review: never received Summary: 1 StarsI never received this item. I did however pay for it. so i'd say the experience of buying it was not satisfactory. How the product works, i cant say.
Customer Review: Wonderful! The only thing to make it better would be glass containers! Summary: 4 StarsMy children love this "Lunch Jar". The variety of healthy options possible for them to enjoy makes their lunchtime a little brighter. Like an earlier reviewer stated with her daughter, my children are finding their friends are enormously curious each day, anxiously waiting to see what will be found within it. As their "doting" mother, I am enjoying the challenge of preparing new and different meals in creative ways each morning. All in all, we have been more inspired by that necessary time of day---lunch.
Customer Review: Does exactly what I wanted. Summary: 5 StarsI'm a student with access to a microwave but not a fridge. I bought this because the idea of being able to keep my food cold until I wanted to heat it up was appealing. I'm not disappointed. This is the first day I have used it, and the cottage cheese and stirfry-rice I packed into the "soup" and "main" bowls, respectively, at 7 AM felt like they had just come out of the fridge at 11:30 AM. I did refrigerate the outer canister overnight, and I assume that helped. The top two bowls are the right size for my raw veggie and dried fruit/nut snacks. It's a little bigger and heavier than the bags I used before, but those weren't so well insulated. I think I'm going to buy one for my husband, as he claims that his workplace's fridge is too scary to use.
Customer Review: Works well Summary: 5 StarsI bought two Mr. Bento lunch jars, for my 7th grader and 4th grader. It has been working out well. I have packed rice and orange chicken, noodles, chicken wings in the bottom two containers. They said that the lunch was still warm at lunch time. On the top room-temperature containers, I put fruit, chips, brownies. You can also squeeze in a pouch of Capri Sun in the carrying bag. The containers are the right sizes for kids, or adults with medium to small lunch size.
Customer Review: Works just like you'd expect Summary: 5 StarsIt ended up being just a little smaller and heavier than I expected but it works just like you'd hope. Keeps food hot/cold for hours, is easy to transport and keeps everything nice and separate. I bring my lunch to work in it every day!
